Many disciplines must be mastered by those Apprentices of our order who wish to gain the respect of the Jedi Master Chefs. Even greater skill must be attained before an experienced Jedi Chef can petition to be granted the coveted rank of Master Chef.
Jedi Chefs must learn combat - both armed and unarmed -and at the same time ceaselessly strive to increase their prowess in the kitchen.
A Jedi Chef must never forget that much can be learned from warriors of virtue who follow other paths to our own. An example of this is that much of our combat training involves very different types of combatant. We each derive new skill and understanding from the other's fighting style. Two examples of this is depicted below.
During their tactical training, Jedi Chefs are taught to be prepared to face danger approaching from any angle, as demonstrated in the following two images.
An important part of each and every Apprentice's training is the art of successfully wielding our weapon of choice, the Lightsaber. Here, JMC005 James instructs a raw recruit, JCA096 Christian, in the basics of Lightsaber combat.
Similarly, JMC001 Rob trains JCA116 Ellen in the finer arts of tactical Jedi fighting.
Here, JMC002 Neil and JMC045 Sam practise close-quarters lightsaber technique..
We must also hone our skills by practising against the weapons used by our enemies. Below, JMC002 Neil tests his skills against one of the Sith's favourite weapons, the double ended lightsaber.
However important physical training and prowess in combat are, we never forget the importance of the mind to any Jedi Chef. Through concentration and rigorous mental training, an experienced Master Chef can unlock doors, heal wounds and even blast through walls by focussing The Sauce with the power of his or her mind. Here, Jedi Master Chef 001 Rob meditates to clear his finely tuned mind ready to embark on a difficult mission.
As well as meditation, Jedi Master Chefs constantly practise applying The Sauce, to keep their mastery of it well tuned. Below, Jedi Master Chefs 002 Neil, 045 Sam and 001 Rob used The Sauce to aim, focus and then activate the camera that took this photo!
Further details of Jedi Chef training will be listed here in the future.
