Jedi Chef Weaponry

Just as with "regular" Jedi, our prefered weapon is the Lightsaber. Immensely powerful and really, really cool, no Jedi Chef's equipmemt is complete without a working 'saber. However, we Jedi Chefs have expanded our arsenal with additional weapons, each fulfilling an important role.

Ranged Weapons - Disc Rifle 01-A Ultra

Occasionally the short, melee range of a Lightsaber is not suitable to the situation at hand. Consequently, the Jedi Chefs Research and Development department was tasked with creating a ranged weapon that was light, accurate and low on maintenance. As always those tech. boys - and girls - and furry creatures - carried out their duties admirably. Below, JMC002 Neil wields a pair of the formidable Disc Rifle 01-A Ultra.

Here, JCA114 Becca Elizabeth sports the weapon that she was efficient enough to provide herself.

And, even when off-duty, JMC011 Neil regularly practices his marksmanship with the 01-A Ultra.

Ranged Weapons - M41A "Pulse Rifle"

Whenever nasty, slimy aliens pose a threat, the weapon of choice is the M41A "Pulse Rifle" medium range assault rifle.

Heavy Weapons - BFG 666 Mobile Missile Launcher

Whilst the Disc Rifle 01-A Ultra is very effective against personnel and softer targets, larger, better protected hostile units, such as military vehicles and buildings, call for weapons with more power. To provide maximum effective yield from the most compact form possible, specially trained Jedi Chefs deploy the tremendously imposing BFG 666 Mobile Missile Launcher. Capable of taking out medium sized buildings and rendering entire groups of hostiles useless, the mighty BFG dominates the battlefield.

Below, JMC026 Aaron, operating in plain clothes, sports one of these mighty canons. The missing rocket indicates that one enemy target has already  been obliterated.

And here is JMC106 Kandyse training with a BFG.

Not only Master Chefs have been trained in the use of these devastating weapons; selected pilots from our elite Rogue Chef Squadron are also skilled in getting our rockets to their intended targets.

Below is a comparison of the Disc Rifle 01-A Ultra and the BFG 666.

Heavy Weapons - M134 A2 Vulcan Minigun

For situations that call for colossal infantry-based firepower without the "splash damage" associated with use of the BFG, there is nothing better than the M134 A2 Vulcan Minigun. Though heavy and somewhat obvious, the rate of fire and enemy suppression potential of the Minigun are unsurpassed.

This impressive support weapon has proved very popular, so much so that many newly-trained Jedi Master Chefs have chosen to learn it's use as one of their specialist skills.

Co-ordinated Deployment

Of course, we understand the importance of using the right tool for the right job. Because even we can not be certain of exactly what will transpire during any engagement, we realize the importance of deploying a mixture of weapons on the battlefield, as demonstrated by the images below.
